The rate sheet

Flat rates by who is calling

Each flat rate is for one visit, agreed on the phone before a truck is booked.

Homes

One line, cleaned from the cleanout or the nearest access.

  • Bath, tub or laundry drain

A jet pass down the line and a flush to confirm it runs.

  • Kitchen line

The sink, the dishwasher branch and the line behind them.

  • Main sewer line

From the cleanout to the city tap or the septic tank, up to 100 feet.

Restaurants and shops

Booked as a repeat stop, outside your busy hours.

  • Floor drain, each

Jetted and flushed, with a photo of the open drain afterward.

  • Grease line to the interceptor

Jetted from the kitchen side to the interceptor. Pumping the interceptor is a hauler's job.

  • Restroom branch

The line behind a row of fixtures, from the nearest cleanout.

Apartment buildings

One booking for the building, one invoice for each unit's line.

  • Kitchen stack, each

Jetted from the roof vent or the lowest cleanout, one stack.

  • Laundry room drain

The shared standpipes and floor drain in one room.

  • Building main

The main to the street, with a camera look and report for the owner's file.

Flat rates are for lines reachable from a cleanout. What moves them is listed below.

What moves the number

Five things that make a flat rate go up

  • Roots

The main line needs the cutting head, a slower pass and more flushing.

  • Heavy grease or scale

A second pass, because the first one only opens a path.

  • No cleanout

A toilet has to be pulled and reset to reach the line.

  • A long line

Past 100 feet we add by the 50 feet, so a long run is easy to price.

  • A break the camera finds

A cracked or collapsed pipe isn't cleaned, it's repaired, and that's a separate quote.

How the pricing works

From first call to the invoice

  1. 01

Step 1: What a flat rate includes

Travel, setup, the jetting pass or passes in the row, a flush to confirm it runs, and cleanup of the work area. It leaves out repair of the pipe itself, any wall or floor repair, and permits for a repair.

  2. 02

Step 2: What happens at the visit

The operator checks flow, jets, runs the camera if you added it, flushes and shows you the result before leaving. Nothing is added without your yes.

  3. 03

Step 3: When you get the number

On the phone before we book, by text the day before, and in writing on the invoice. If the camera shows a different problem, work stops until you have a new number.

  4. 04

    Step 4: Nights and weekends

We don't run them. Routes are Monday to Friday and Saturday morning is for call-ins, at the same flat rates.

Rates

What people ask about the price

When do I hear the price?

On the phone, before we book a truck, and again by text the day before your route day. The flat rate is for the work we agreed on the phone. If the camera shows something that needs a different fix, the operator stops and tells you before doing more.

What makes a flat rate go up?

A line over 100 feet, roots that need the cutting head, a heavy second pass of grease or scale, or a main line with no cleanout so a toilet has to be pulled. Each one is named on the phone before we book, so you know what the flat rate covers.

Do you charge extra for nights and weekends?

We don't run nights or Sundays. Routes run Monday to Friday, and Saturday morning is for call-ins. Calls after 5 p.m. get a call back at 7 a.m.

Is the camera part of the flat rate?

It is an added row, so you choose. On a main line we suggest it, because it shows whether roots or a broken pipe made the clog. The camera look comes with a written report of what it found and photos.
