Questions
What dispatch hears most often
The firm
How do I know you're licensed?
The state license is in the footer of every page, with the number and a link to the agency's lookup page. Check it there before you book anyone.
What areas and hours do you cover?
Allen County and the towns around it, on set route days Monday to Friday, with Saturday morning for call-ins. Type your ZIP code on the contact page to see your day.
Does anyone on the crew speak Spanish?
Cesar Cabrera does. Ask for him when you call and dispatch will put the visit on his route if it fits.
The visit
How long does a visit take?
A bath or kitchen line is a short visit. A main line with a camera look takes longer. The operator tells you the time before starting.
Do I need a permit?
Cleaning a line doesn't need one. A repair that opens the ground or a wall can, and the crew that quotes the repair handles it.
What if the jet doesn't solve it?
The operator tells you why before leaving. If the camera shows a broken pipe, you pay the rows you agreed to and get the repair options in writing, with a separate quote.
The camera
What does a camera look show?
The inside of the pipe after it's cleaned: roots, scale, a belly that holds water, a cracked joint. You get photos and a written report.
The pipe
Is my house at risk for old pipe problems?
Homes built before the 1980s often have cast iron, clay or galvanized lines, which scale and crack. A camera look tells you which you have. A pipe in that shape gets a lower jet pressure, or none.
Do you work on septic systems?
We jet from the cleanout toward the tank. Pumping the tank is done by a septic hauler.
When do I hear the price?
On the phone, before we book a truck, and again by text the day before your route day. The flat rate is for the work we agreed on the phone. If the camera shows something that needs a different fix, the operator stops and tells you before doing more.
What makes a flat rate go up?
A line over 100 feet, roots that need the cutting head, a heavy second pass of grease or scale, or a main line with no cleanout so a toilet has to be pulled. Each one is named on the phone before we book, so you know what the flat rate covers.
Do you charge extra for nights and weekends?
We don't run nights or Sundays. Routes run Monday to Friday, and Saturday morning is for call-ins. Calls after 5 p.m. get a call back at 7 a.m.
Is the camera part of the flat rate?
It is an added row, so you choose. On a main line we suggest it, because it shows whether roots or a broken pipe made the clog. The camera look comes with a written report of what it found and photos.
Not sure the jet is the fix?
Call and ask dispatch. If we are not the right crew, we say so.
